Hi guys I apologize if this is the wrong thread. Feel free to erase it if it is. I have been thinking about building a PC rig from scratch, however I already have a pretty good Macbook Pro and was wondering if I truly need a PC since I will be buying a PS4 Slim soon as I've always been a console gamer. It is important to refer that I am not a hardcore gamer at all. My main focus is survival horror which I am a sucker for. However sometimes there are titles not available for PS but PC only and which some I truly want to play, and then they are not available for Mac either (the best ones never are) and it annoys me not being able to play them at all.
So I was wondering if you guys think I could have a good experience playing on this Macbook pro with either Parallels or Boothcamp (also if so would you care to share which one you think would be better for this purpose). These are the specs of my laptop currently: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) Processor 2,3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB Storage 1TB Flash Storage If you guys think an average gamer like me could use this system and be happy with its performance, I would go ahead and buy the PS4 slim as I normally am a console gamer and could save the money on the PC rig for it, and then play some PC games on parallels or Booth Camp. What do you think? Your input is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
